Hey, cat enthusiasts! Today we are shining our wonderful ICanHasCheezburger spotlight on a fantastic story that tugged at our heart strings. When OP (the original poster) of this thread shared his story, we melted. OP and his girlfriend set out to trap a neighborhood stray to get him neutered and give him a real home. When they set up their 'have a heart' trap, they were surprised to find a pregnant female had taken the bait, and not the original stray that they were after.
Nonetheless, they took in this beautiful pregnant female, anticipating that she had at least a couple of weeks until she was due to give birth. Well, surprises happen and the cat-loving couple came home a couple of days later to find that Mama had given birth to not one not two but five perfectly healthy kittens. And they have a sneaking suspicion that the daddy cat was their original target! Talk about a turn of events. Check out the pictures and all of the details below!
